Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs use of the BaaSdrop platform and is part of the Customer Terms of Service. It applies to you and to your applications' end users — you must impose use restrictions on your end users that are at least as protective as this AUP.

Prohibited Applications and Content

You may not use the platform to build, operate, or host applications or content that:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation
  • Contain or distribute child sexual abuse material, or sexualize or exploit minors — zero tolerance; we report to NCMEC and law enforcement as required by law
  • Infringe intellectual property or other proprietary rights
  • Distribute malware, or are designed to defraud, phish, or deceive
  • Facilitate illegal gambling, illegal drug sales, or trafficking
  • Constitute spam operations or bulk unsolicited messaging
  • Harass, threaten, or incite violence or hatred against individuals or groups
  • Violate the privacy of others, including collecting personal data without required notices and consents, or stalkerware/covert-surveillance functionality
  • Are directed to children under 13 without prior written notice to us and full compliance with COPPA or equivalent law

Prohibited Platform Conduct

You may not:

  • Attempt to breach tenant isolation or access other customers' data
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the platform except through an authorized security disclosure
  • Interfere with or disrupt the platform's integrity or performance
  • Circumvent metering, quotas, rate limits, or billing
  • Resell or white-label raw platform access in a way that removes our ability to enforce this AUP against the actual operator, without a written agreement with us
  • Use the platform to build a competing product by systematic extraction of its behavior

AI Feature Misuse

You and your applications may not use platform AI features to:

  • Generate content prohibited by this AUP
  • Deceive people into believing AI output is human-authored where the context makes that misleading
  • Provide regulated professional advice (legal, medical, financial) without required disclaimers, licenses, and human oversight
  • Attempt to extract model weights or training data, or systematically circumvent safety constraints

Enforcement

We may remove content, suspend or pause apps, tenants, or accounts, and terminate for cause, as described in Sections 7 and 8 of the Customer Terms. Where practicable we will notify you and give you an opportunity to cure before acting; for severe violations (child safety, security attacks, active fraud) we act first and notify after. We report illegal activity to the appropriate authorities.
